We had a beautiful engagement session wandering around Central park and the always gorgeous St. James Court. I’m so excited to design their guest sign-in book with their engagement photos! Jennifer looks like a fashion model, doesn’t she?
What a great couple! And we’re practically neighbors too–Germantown represent! Morgan and Chris didn’t want a full engagement session, they just wanted a few shots of themselves before the wedding. So we arranged a short bike ride to a park nearby, they snuggled, I snapped, and we were done! I definitely think we captured their happiness in our quick session, though. Don’t you?
This was one of these sessions where everything just came together perfectly. We planned on starting out on the waterfront, but the huge crowd at the Derby Chow-Wagon made it impossible. This really worked to our advantage, though, because they had some urban shots in mind. So we had a total blast exploring Main Street a bit, and had some real fun with the art in the 21C Hotel.
Suzy and Trey had a simple wedding and didn’t have engagement photos done, so for their upcoming one year anniversary, they wanted some special photos of themselves. They were a fantastic couple to photograph–great personalities, willing to experiment, and of course, beautiful!
We had fun running all over the Mellwood for this session. There are a million photo opportunities at that space! Glad my studio is there
PS–I’m still working on figuring out this new blog–there are some size irregularities in the photos below. Expect improvement with the next post (hopefully!)
Has anyone been to the Galt House lately? I haven’t been in years, and wow, have they ever spruced the place up. It looks amazing.
This beautiful couple brightened up my day considerably–their session was scheduled on the same day the Cards were out of the tournament. I’m very glad I had them to distract me
He proposed at the Galt House, so it was only natural to do their engagement portraits there. Enjoy!
Here’s the slideshow, as promised Check out what I was talking about in their first post–the sequences of the 2 of them interacting are so awesome. I kept wanting to choose their pictures in 3’s–that’s how the moments seemed to happen!
Brooke and Neil are engaged! Well, you might have already known that, but it’s not official till the pictures, of course. Much more important than that ring, right? Just kidding
We started out at the always beautiful St. James Court where the dogwoods were in bloom, and ended up on the Riverfront. It threateded rain, but we got lucky with only a few sprinkles so we ended up having a blast on the playground. It didn’t take Brooke and Neil any time to warm up for the camera. Look how natural they are! There are so many cute sequence shots that you’ll notice in the slideshow–they were so awesome interacting with each other.
